In March, we had a special presentation by our expert piano tuner, Bryan Henry, who offered our students a rare, hands-on look at the inner workings of a piano. Bryan's presentation was so fascinating! He carefully opened up the piano and invited the students to peek inside. With a wealth of knowledge and a passion for his craft, Bryan explained how each part of the piano works together to create music. He demonstrated the mechanics of the hammers, strings, and pedals, and showed how the keys translate into sound. Our students were very curious and asked many great questions!
To keep the excitement going, we followed Bryan's presentation with an Easter Scavenger Hunt and a series of fun, Easter-themed activities and games that encouraged teamwork, and, of course, lots of laughter!
Days like these are what make The Piano Room a special place to learn and grow. I am committed to providing my students with unique experiences that combine education and fun, fostering a lifelong love of music!
A big thank you to Bryan Henry for his enlightening presentation and to all the students for their enthusiasm and participation! I would also like to wish all my studio families a very Happy Easter. May your holiday be filled with joy, music, and cherished time with loved ones.
