Congratulations, Alexa! Alexa started piano lessons with me when she was just 7 years old and now she's moving on to pursue engineering at Penn State University. Alexa has been a dedicated piano student and a role model for all of the students at The Piano Room. Her determination, positive attitude and warm smile were contagious for all those around her. Alexa was not only my piano student, but also became a trusted babysitter and my assistant at the workshops. Below you will find a slideshow showcasing Alexa's years taking piano lessons with me. We presented Alexa with the slideshow at her surprise Farewell Party, where we also played some fun games like "Pack the Suitcase" and Taboo, after performing. We also gave Alexa 3 "challenges" that she's to complete within her first semester at Penn State! We will all miss Alexa and her amazing music, but we look forward to seeing her on her breaks and will continue to keep in touch. :-)
